Entwistle and Wayoh is one of those walks you have to repeat because it's a good easy walk with good area to walk. I like Entwistle for many reasons, but I know it quite well having visited many times before both through walks, health walks and just general walking. It not far off the A666 so good access from Bolton and Blackburn.
It was a bit overcast through out the walk, but people enjoyed the walk which is a good positive even after ti rained towards the end of the walk. But ha this is the north west.
When we finished the walk we headed to find a pub in Chapeltown not far form Turton. We managed to find a nice pub and what was really nice was the landlady brought some sausage rolls which had been left from a recent wedding party. Excellent and a very much appreciated treat.
