Back to Winter Hill for an out walk and this time the weather was much nicer than last time.
Did some extra exploring which was good and find a lovely area near Smithill's hall which has recently been made accessible with new paths put in.
This meant the route remained on the south side of the hill altogether which worked better I think as a walk.
We also found an old building halfway up the hill towards the mast, not sure exactly what it's function was, a house or somewhere for the sheep to stay. But spooky as well as we mad a bit of mist sometimes wafting about.
