Dunnockshaw Woodland - 18th June 2007

A trip north back to Rossendale allowed myself and Mark to venture up onto the Dunnockshaw Community Woodland which stands above Burnley and where one of the east Lancashire Artwork stands. Taking a chance after such a showery few days, myself and Mark walked from Clowbridge Reservoir over to Crown Point to see the Artwork which is called The Singing Ringing Tree, use the link to learn more, http://www.burnleyactionpartnership.com/page.asp?id=2932

It was an interesting day and an enjoyable walking. I have do a lot of walking in this area due to the Walks for Health Project that I undertook for Groundwork Rossendale. For Mark is was all new and he enjoyed himself very much. In fact we have decided to use the route for one of the Come Out & Walk events for August.  A link to the photos we took is below.
